ACCEPTING PROPOSALS FOR NON-PROFIT
AND CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS
Union County Finance Office is now accepting request for non-profit organizations for the fiscal year 2025-2026. All applicants are required by state law to comply with the following:
-Any nonprofit organization that desires financial assistance from the county legislative body shall file with the County Clerk a copy of an annual report of its business affairs and transactions, which includes, but is not limited to, a copy of an annual audit, a description of the program that serves the residents of the county, and the proposed use of the county assistance. TCA 5-9-109(c) (1).
In lieu of the annual audit, an annual report detailing all receipts and expenditures, tax return or balance sheet may be provided.
A Digital copy of these reports, as applicable, and a request for funding may be emailed to deputydirector@ucps.org or dropped off at the Union County Finance Office, 300 Main Street, Maynardville, TN 37807 a no later than March 21, 2025.

PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE
The City of Luttrell will conduct a series of Public Meetings to provide information to the public on the Tennessee Department of Environment & Conservation’s Office of Outdoor Recreation Grants and the City’s plan to apply for this funding. Citizens are encouraged to attend and comment on proposed projects.
There are multiple ways in which the public can participate and provide comments on the proposed project.
1. Attend the In-Person Public Meeting at the Luttrell City Hall on Monday, March 24, 2025 at 6:30 PM. The Luttrell City Hall is located at 115 Park Road.
2. A social media Public Meeting will be held on the City of Luttrell Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100064738024527)
Project information will be posted for public comment on or before March 24, 2025.
3. Request a project information packet from Ms. Leslie Meza. Comments should be submitted by March 28, 2025, at 4:00 PM. Ms. Meza can be reached by calling City Hall at (865) 992-0870.

Notice is hereby given that the regular city election for the City of Luttrell has been
called for the purpose of electing One (1) Mayor and Two (2) Council seats whose terms
of office have expired. The term of office for Mayor is two (2) years; Council seats are
four (4) years. The City Election will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at Luttrell
Community Center. Polls will open at 9:00 am and close at 8:00 pm.
This election is open to all registered voters who reside within the city limits of Luttrell
or own qualifying reasonable property inside the city limit. Qualifying deadline is
NOON, March 7, 2025. Qualifying petitions are available in the Election Commission
office. The deadline for filing certificate of write-in candidacy is NOON, April 16, 2025.
The deadline to register to vote or change your name or address on an existing
registration in person at the Election Commission office or online at GoVoteTN.com is
May 6, 2025. Voters who have not notified the Election Commission Office of a
name/address change may experience a delay in voting. Mail-in registration applications
must be postmarked no later than May 6, 2025.
Voters 60 years old and above, and voters with disabilities may vote early during the
regular early voting dates, or by an absentee ballot by mail. Absentee ballots by mail
may be requested from Friday, March 7, 2025 through Monday, May 26, 2025. Any
elderly voter or voter with a disability desiring to vote at the Election Commission Office
